Hi, my name is Nicola and welcome to my website. I have been interested in sewing since primary school. On leaving High School I completed a two-year TAFE Course in Fashion Design and Technology in 1985-86. Followed by the Fashion Design and Technology Higher Certificate in Sydney in 1987. I spent the next few years raising my three children, with the help of my wonderful husband. Once my children reached school age I decided to return to the workforce and my passion of creating and designing, including fashion and soft furnishing items. My first venture was designing and making wedding and bridesmaids dresses. Moving into school uniforms, in later years, has kept me busy whilst my children were growing.
I then decided it was time to take my business to the next level and concentrate on long-arm quilting and custom quilting, which is what I am most passionate about now.
I opened Nicola Haddow Quilting Services in July 2018 and to date have completed in excess of 120 quilts, which includes a variety of edge to edge, appliqued and custom quilts.
